The 2024 Jan Tinbergen European Peace Science Conference will be held at Dublin City University on June 17-19, 2024.

The NEPS Lecture will be given by Lars-Erik Cederman, ETH Zurich.

The Jan Tinbergen European Peace Science Conference hosts presentations that address any issue relating to peace and security broadly defined. As ever, we strive for a multi-disciplinary program comprising contributions with a wide range of theoretical and methodological approaches, including strictly theoretical work, game theory and formal modeling, statistical and econometric analysis, qualitative studies, and experiments. Programs and lists of participants of previous editions are available below.

Please note that PhD students are eligible for the Stuart A. Bremer Award. Eligible papers cannot be co-authored with a senior researcher. The winner is rewarded with a bursary to attend the conference of the Peace Science Society (International).

NEPS offers financial support for conference participation on a need basis. Those with accepted submissions can apply via email (info@europeanpeacescientists.org) with a letter of application explaining the need for funding. While the support program is primarily intended for early career scholars, it is open to all. Funding includes a waiver for the conference registration fee plus a maximum of 800 Euros for travel and accommodation expenses, and will only be available at the close of the conference as reimbursement of valid payment receipts. Applications start on the day conference acceptances are communicated and close after one month. Since our budget is limited, support is offered on a first come first served basis. NEPS reserves the right to withold funding in case of absence of qualifying applications..
